Challenge.

Our client requested a poolside location shoot, but there was a short lead time, little budget and of course it was raining throughout the shoot dates, we got that sinking feeling. The brief included poolside photography of electronic devices, outdoor summer look and feel and a range of talent. Our challenge was that the shoot needed to be carried out over two separate locations and on a sunny day.

With no locations available and rain setting in all week, it was time to pool our creative talents and construct a believable “in studio” environment that included two pools and a sunny day. So with the decision made to move it in studio, the new Silverwater aquatic centre was born.

Results.

With it continuing to pour rain outside, we took this project from concept to camera in four days and delivered back some amazing campaign shots that would be used across a range of digital channels and mass media.

The entire project went swimmingly in the end, we managed to create our art directors vision and the team took what could have been a problem project and created highly realistic series of poolside shots that met and exceeded the clients brief in every way.
